Pitiful Customer Service - Wendy's Old Fashioned Hamburgers

This evening my family and I stopped by Wendy's in South Sioux City, Nebraska. While waiting for our order we were informed that it would be a 6 minute wait for the bacon cheeseburger pretzel bun. The manager tried to convince us to get the chicken instead but we stated we would wait. When our order was 'up', only 2 sandwiches were on the tray. They would bring our 3rd burger along with 3 orders of fries out to our table. The 6 minutes passed and our 2 sandwiches grew cold as we waited for the rest of our order. Meanwhile customers who had ordered after us walked by with trays of fries. As I was preparing to return to the counter to inquire about our food, a waitress brought our food to the table and said "here you go". No apology for taking so long or compensation for the prolonged wait time. To make matters worse, one order that we had waited the extra time for- the bacon cheeseburger pretzel bun- was wrong! It was chicken. Not what we had waited extra time for! The overall experience was abismal with the final impression being an overflowing trash as I left the restaurant, if I can still call it that. If I were the owner if this institution I would want to know of the many shortcomings in the area of customer service.
